That looks good too....how'd ya get from raw pepper to pesto?

Put the peppers under the grill until the skin blackens (you will have to turn them a few times to get the skin to blacken evenly all around) and then put them in a bowl and put cling film over the top and let them steam and cool for about 15 minutes. Then -- WEARING GLOVES (which I failed to do, and my hands are still burning today) -- peel off the skins and remove the seeds and put the peppers in the Magimix along with some toasted pine nuts. For about 3 pounds of peppers I used about a cup of pine nuts. Then, with the Magimix running, drizzle in some olive oil -- I used about 3/4 of a cup -- and then you're done...

There is no Xmas update because we didn't have Xmas at the farm, but Andy, why are you awake at this hour???
