Variegated Vinca
Further update to my previous post: Janet's brother confirms that it is a variegated form of Vinca, commonly known as periwinkle -- so there you have it! He also says it's very easy to grow -- my specimen is currently growing out of a stone wall! :)

Dear Jessica & Greg your rose which you have cleverly saved from by the shed is Mozart,seehttp://nature.jardin.free.fr/arbuste/fbg_rosa_mozart.html It's wonderful to look back at your pictures & see great progress. Glad to hear that Big Boy is better.Sue,Worcs.
I know it looks similar, but Mozart is supposed to be very fragrant, and ours doesn't smell at all, so I think I will stick with my original assessment and say it is just Rosa Canina!
