Angela has very nicely pointed out to me that
I said I was going to post more frequently this year and I haven't, so as today is 1st
February, it's nearly as good as 1st January -- I'll give it another try -- although I warn you -- my life is not as exciting as you think it is! :)

There are daffodills and primroses about, but it is still very cold and the forecast says
there might be snow but I don't believe it... It did sort of snow for about three minutes this morning, but only if you happened to be looking out the window at the right time...

The shed roof is nearly done now!

There's a word for that kind of shed here on Orkney. It's 'house'.
It's a mighty fine thing. Who's doing the roofing and do they fancy a break on Westray?
In Wales, it's a tŷ bach twt! Greg and I are doing the roofing ourselves -- it's not as hard as you think. Would love to come up to Scotland, but who will feed the chickens and sheep while we are away? :)
